Spring Equinox Movie Night

Event description

Come and join us at Bellingen's Northbank Community Garden for a family-friendly movie night on Saturday 21st September.

Our movie night is timed to bring some heart-warming energy & good vibes to this wonderful community, just in time for the Spring Equinox.

We're showing the Happen Films documentary Together We Grow, The Story of Common Unity, followed by Aussie classic Crackerjack.

Both films share real life and fictional accounts of communities that bond, bind and grow together to create something special, which is what we're all about at the Northbank Community Garden.

The Timing:

5:00 pm - gates open

5:45 pm - Together We Grow: The Story of Common Unity

6:30pm - Crackerjack

What you need to bring:

  • Cash for hot soup, cake, popcorn and chai (BYO soup mugs + spoons)
  • Your favourite picnic rug, cushions, bean bags etc (the ground may get dewy, so a tarp under your rug will help your toosh stay dry ;)
  • Warm clothing (the person wearing the funkiest scarf wins a free bag of popcorn!)
  • Hot water bottle (we'll top it up with single origin, piping hot, Bellinger River Water)

What's it gonna cost?
There are a range of different ticket options, including a 'pay-it-forward', member and non-member prices.

If you're not already a paid-up member of the garden, you can sign up for an annual membership here for $25. Membership gives you discounts to all events and workshops that we run at the garden (like this one!).

If the weather is too wet, we will reschedule or provide full refunds - but keep your fingers crossed for a dry night and warm spirits!

Fist time visiting the Garden?

Find us at 100 North Bank Road, Bellingen. Parking is limited just inside the gates of the Garden to allow the RFS to have access to their sheds, so please park safely and mindfully on surrounding streets :)
