Winter Weave
Event description
THE VESSEL
An ongoing collaborative series by Orchard St & Brooke Brash hosted at Art Department Studio, Woolloomooloo.
Part II: Winter Weave
As the moon expresses its fullness, we come together in community to weave intentions into the creation of our vessel. A day of shared ritual, creative expression, and inner nourishment.
We are honoured to connect with Tegan Murdock from Ngumpie Weaving - a First Nations Weaving Artist from the Barkindji Tribe - to teach us a traditional Aboriginal basket weaving technique - held in the container of Tea and nourishment to support your vessel.
Offerings include:
Tea Ceremony with Brooke — a quiet honouring of stillness and presence, as we cleanse our vessel and make room for potential and possibility.
Weaving Workshop with Tegan Murdock — Learn a traditional Aboriginal weaving skill to create your own basket vessel.
Plant Wisdom Insights with Orchard St — Explore Naturopathic ways to thread plant remedies into daily life.
Nourishment by Orchard St — Experience the craft of culinary alchemy with a botanical broth bar.
