Winter Wellness ~ Fire Cider Making Workshop
Event description
Join naturopath and folk herbalist Tallulah for an evening of medicine making and learn how to make traditional cold and flu remedies with items you likely already have in your kitchen.
In this hands on workshop participants will learn how to make fire cider, a traditional folk remedy that boosts immunity, clears congestion, and helps relieve cold and flu symptoms. Participants will learn about immune boosting ingredients that are in most kitchens and ways to utilise them. Attendees are welcome to bring any questions about tips to help keep well during the winter months.
Participants will get to make a jar of fire cider each and take it home.
Cost of the workshop covers the cost of ingredients, equipment, and contributes funds to FRONTYARD.
About your host:
Tallulah is a naturopath based in Sydney's Inner-west. She has a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). She is a professional member of the Naturopaths & Herbalists Association of Australia (NHAA).
Tallulah is authentic and passionate about making healthcare more accessible. She blends evidence-based practice with grounded, animist, traditional methodologies, understanding that each patient is unique. Her goal in practice is to create approachable and sustainable wellness.
Her entire life she has wanted to help people, and ever since she was a little one, she has been pottering in the garden and making herbal concoctions.
