Winter Wisdom for Fruit Trees: Pruning and care tips
Event description
Wondering how to look after your fruit trees this winter? Learn a simple, 7-step process to prune your trees correctly, plus get your winter fruit tree care questions answered by organic fruit grower and educator Katie Finlay from Grow Great Fruit. You'll learn how to prune different types of fruit trees, correct technique, and how to prune young trees to get them established for a full and productive life. Katie will show you the two most important cuts to use on your fruit trees, and how to renovate 'monster' trees that have been neglected for a few years. Bring your secateurs and a branch to play along at home (make it shorter to fit indoors if you need to!)
