Family Violence & the Workplace

Together with the City of Greater Bendigo Council, please join WIRE as we host an expert panel to discuss Family Violence within the context of the workplace. The panel will include perspectives from a family violence & employment lawyer, a union representative and a family violence support worker from local organisations. The discussion will cover topics such as family violence leave, employee rights and eligibility, creating supportive systems and processes and general family violence awareness. Interactive conversation and questions will be encouraged!

This event is suitable for anyone who is in the workforce; employees, employers and organisations or any community members who are interested in increasing their knowledge surrounding family violence and family violence leave. All genders and cultures welcomed. 

The event will be offered in person Bendigo City Library and will be livestreamed online via zoom. 

For those who can attend in person, a light morning tea and refreshments will be provided.
