WIRED is a glittering, darkly funny exploration of what it means to succeed in a world that never rests.

The 50 minute solo show follows Maddie, a self-proclaimed overachiever, through the whirlwind of phone calls and to-do-lists that make up her life. Seduced by the glamour of productivity, Maddie is convinced she can be that woman that ‘has it all’.  But what happens when life doesn’t play by the rules? And how much is she willing to sacrifice to keep up the performance? 

Told through dance and dialogue, WIRED is a bold, witty, and tender ode to anyone who’s ever felt like they’re running out of time.

As an independent production, WIRED is entirely self funded - and we rely on the generous donations of our community to bring this story to life. We're lucky to have already had a wonderful team of professionals believe in this show, donating their time, skills and resources. With your help, we'll be able to make it stronger than ever!

Every dollar donated will go straight into covering costs of production: venue hire, Q-Lab licencing, resource costs for our set and costumes, and with enough support, a Koha for our volunteers.

The Funding Menu

$5 - a cheeky coffee's worth can make the biggest difference. For every 5 dollars, we can print off 10 large posters to promote the show!

$15 - covers an entire days-worth of Q-Lab hire, allowing our team to design, program and rehearse with sound ques (very important for a show that is told through a series of phone calls!).

$30 - helps us buy meters of fabric needed for our glittering set and costumes!

$50 - Allows us to hire in bespoke lighting! $50 covers one light for one night. This would dramatically improve our ability to tell Maddie's story, and really elevate the show.

$100 - Sponsor a performance!

This covers an entire performance's worth of venue hire - from cast and crew call, all the way to locking up after the audience has left. With a three-show season, there are only three sponsor spots available!
