Wirimbirra Bird Walk
Description
The Capertee Valley is an Important Bird Area and Key Biodiversity Area with 242 species of birds. 96 of them so far have been seen at Wirimbirra, a 116 acre property in Bogee.
Bird artist and host, Leanne Wicks, will guide you along her favourite walk to the Ornithon (bird hide). We end the tour with a cuppa at her art studio with sweeping views of the valley.

Only 20 minutes to the famous From The Paddock cafe in Glen Alice.
Please bring your own camera and binoculars. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for walking on uneven ground.

- Which birds will I see?
This will be dependent on seasonal migrations and weather. Usually, I see mistletoe birds, yellow robins, speckled warblers, white-browed babblers, rufous whistlers, yellow-tailed black cockatoos, often gang gangs. And, of course, the usual sulphur-crested cockatoos, corellas, magpies, ravens, peaceful doves, double-barred finches. I cannot guarantee any particular species.
