Wisdom & Action 2025 Workshop: Elevating Consciousness
Event description
Flow with the evolving edge of systems change and personal growth, in a session that combines embodiment with complexity studies and cognitive science.
'We are Nature' is an easy concept to grasp intellectually. Our bodies are made of the same atoms as trees and stars, and we rely on the energy of the sun just like the rest of life on earth.
But knowing this and feeling it are very different.
To find new insights and explore new ways to tackle the many crises we face at this time in history, knowing isn't enough; we have to learn how to embody our connection to the world, to make it a deeper aspect of who we are, what we want, and where we're going.
In this experiential workshop, Alexander Beiner will introduce key theoretical frameworks that underpin 'We are Nature', drawing on cognitive science, philosophy and plant medicine research.
He will then build on those frameworks to engage in consciousness practices like somatic inquiry, breathwork and group dialogue to embody the deepest aspects of nature within us.
You'll experience:
· how your nervous system doesn't end at your fingertips, but stretches out into your environment.
You'll learn:
- how to breathe in a way that sharpens your sensemaking
- how active listening can help us find new patterns in the natural world
· new ways to know
You’ll become
- more present and discerning
- better at conversations that can take you somewhere new
By the end of the workshop, you'll walk away not thinking you're part of nature, but feeling it in your bones.
This will be an intimate group with 20 spots available only so reserve your spot now.
