Event description

MoWaNa is delighted to announce our 2025 Season 1 of Wisdom and Wellness Wednesdays.
This ongoing series aims to provide affordable access to tools and knowledge to help with life's journey.

  • Standard Season pass $130 for all 10 sessions
  • Single sessions $15*

For season 1 2025 we have a great line up with some favourites and some new and interesting  modalities, here's a sneak peek at what's to come next term: -
Practical Philosophy and Wisdom
In previous terms we have run dedicated sessions for the introduction of practical philosophy and wisdom. Going forward we will blend this element into each session, developing a number of theme's over the course of the term designed to illuminate the wisdom embedded in the practices  we engage in.
Program Preview
Somatic Experience - what is it to experience the world somatically, what can our bodies tell us if we learn to listen.
Energetics - developing an awareness of our energetic state and learning to work with it in your everyday life.
Movement and Breath, deepening our understanding of movement, breath and vocalisation and how these practices can benefit us.
Sound based modalities - continuing our experience of sound and how it interacts with our bodies , minds and energetic systems.
Contemplative practices, including meditation mindfulness and creative expression including art therapy.
We also plan to introduce an element of indigenous wisdom into the program in the form of Wayapa Wuurk .

A note on prices and sustainability of the program
Our commitment is to make this program accessible to all our community no matter their financial situation. However we don't want payments to be a barrier to participation in the program, if you are in financial hardship please reach out to Mowana and arrangements can be made.
We also believe strongly that our facilitators who dedicate their lives to their crafts should be fairly compensated for their services. If you can afford more than the minimum ticket price your generosity will be contributing to the ongoing sustainability of the program.
