Witch Spit - Church Moms - After Dark @ Grace Emily Hotel May 17 2025

Three of Adelaide's finest bands come together on May 17 at the Grace Emily Hotel to provide some good times and catharsis.

Witch Spit are a two piece ‘Feral Girl’ punk band that’ll satisfy your thirst for chaos, sure to be raising some hell and blowing up speakers in dive bar near you. When they’re not tearing up the local scene at home on Kaurna Land / Adelaide, they’re taking the rest of Australia by the balls.

Consisting of Vocalist and Guitarist/Bassist Paige Geard and Drummer Alex Hollow, Witch Spit are loud and proud about what they have to say, and say it with bucket loads of attitude.

Influenced by Distillers, L7, Bikini Kill, 70s punk and the ever-growing Australian punk scene. This is no apologies kinda punk that slaps you in the face with loud and dominant riot grrrl energy.

In the past few years, the band have played with hundreds of incredible bands, snagging their first international support opening Joey Cape's (Lagwagon, USA) tour in 2022 with an unplugged set, showcasing their roots and diversity as musicians.

Since then they have proudly ripped it up with some of Australia’s best noise makers, including Dumb Punts, Private Function, Flangipanis & Clowns and had their big festival debut at Froth n Fury 2024.

Church Moms are a Queercore band on Kaurna land. After getting some spins on Triple and Double J and opening for legends YOU AM I & Magic Dirt, Church Moms are gearing up for their album release. They sing about anticapitalism and heartbreak.
