Brunswick Street faces challenges. Customer habits are changing. It's recovering from COVID but still faces problems of crime and graffiti. Traders want action to bring more life into the street. The state wants population doubled by 2050. We need to adapt to changing climate and aging population. Flood mapping shows it turning into a river in an extreme event. Melbourne University Professor Dan Hill will draw on his rich international experience as an urbanist working at the intersection of design, technology and cities in the UK, Scandinavia, Italy, the Netherlands and Australia to lead a conversation about Brunswick Street 2050.
