Welcome to Wattlebrush School of Bushcraft and Wizardry, where Hogwarts meets the Australian bush! Join us at Wattlebrush for a school holiday camp filled with hands-on Wizarding classes and outdoor adventures designed for young Wiz-kids aged 9-12.
From brewing potions with local ingredients to Wizarding Duels with friends, this camp is packed with spellbinding fun and educational activities. There are house challenges, the awarding of the House Cup and of course a big party on Friday with Butterbeer and Cauldron cakes. Experience the magic of Hogwarts down under with a special Yuletide twist!
- House Sorting Ceremony: 🧙♂️ Be sorted into Wattlebrush houses with our magical Sorting Hat ceremony.
- Enchanting Carols Sing-Along: 🎶🔔 Join the Frog choir with Harry Potter-themed Christmas carols.
- Potions Classes: 🍵 Brew festive potions and learn to concoct magical remedies using ingredients foraged from the wild.
- Divination (Tea Leaf Reading): 🔮 Learn to read your future in tea leaves and design your own festive tea to take home.
- Quidditch Games: 🏆 Participate in fun, wizard-themed challenges and earn points for your house.
- Yule Ball Dance Lesson: 💃🕺 Learn some basic dance steps, including waltzing, to prepare for the grand Yule Ball.
About us: Wattlebrush is about exploring the magic of your own backyard and making incredible childhood memories. Our activities are immersive, supportive and run by registered teachers. We’re all about supporting local families with magic school holiday care solutions.
What's included: A week at Wattlebrush is full of Wandering, Wondering and Wizardry! Every Wiz-kid takes home a personal foraging bag, spell book and biology wall poster graduation certificate. Camp runs 8.30 - 3.30 Monday to Friday with activities starting officially at 9am. Every day is filled with Potions, Herbology and Bush craft with all materials provided. There will be themed snacks and prizes for the final Yule Ball dance party.
What to bring: Food for the day, sun protection, and hydration. We definitely encourage you to bring all your favourite magical artifacts along.
Accessibility and safety: We'll send a comprehensive starter form to gather your child's comfort and safety requirements. For accessibility, students need to be able to climb the Scout Hall stairs with or without assistance. Many activities take place outdoors, so sun protection and weather-appropriate clothing are essential each day.
