Women Leading Climate Action Webinar Series: Hosted by ActionAid Australia in partnership with Women’s Agenda
Event description
JOIN US FOR A LIVE ONLINE EVENT
ActionAid has partnered with Women's Agenda to develop the Women Leading Climate Action Speaker Series; a virtual discussion that aims to lift the voices of diverse women in Australia and overseas who are leading solutions to the climate crisis.
Although COVID-19 continues to be the focal point for public discussion, we must continue to work towards long-term climate change solutions - both on the national and international stage.
Over the past few years, we have seen the rise of Greta Thunberg and other young activists fighting for climate action. The third virtual event in our webinar series will play host to a panel of 'Young women across the world leading climate action' discussing how to amplify your voice to fight for global change.
Facilitated by Women's Agenda Founding Editor, Angela Priestley, we will be joined by ActionAid Head of Policy and Campaigns Katherine Tu, Ugandan climate activist Evelyn Acham and Groundswell Co-Founder, Clare Ainsworth Herschell.
Join the discussion with young women leading climate action across the world!
Please note: You will receive an email with your registration confirmation and the Zoom link the day prior to the event.
