WMSS Outdoor Climbing Trip @ the Grampians

== Secure your camping and climbing ticket now with a deposit of $55 ==

Come join the Wilderness Medicine Student Society for a weekend away climbing and vibing in the Grampians! Includes one day of traditional climbing with all equipment and training provided with plenty of cruisy routes for the new climber and challenging ones for the veterans. Our remaining time will be sent rock scrambling and bouldering across the mountains the following day. 

Spots are limited. Options include to pay only for camping with hiking and bouldering or pay the full cost now. 

== WHAT TO BRING == 

  • Appropriate clothing including windproof/water resistant jacket, comfortable clothing suitable to weather conditions (short shorts are not recommended as you will be wearing harnesses)
  • Sunscreen/hats
  • Comfortable footwear (e.g. runners)
  • Food (1-2 dinner, 1 breakfast and 2 lunches) and a way to cook it (there are fire pits at Stapylton Campground but you must provide your own wood, or BYO Trangia/stove/etc.)
  • Water (there is no drinking water at Stapylton Campground so it is recommended to bring enough water for the whole weekend ~3-4L or bring a way to treat the water at Stapylton Campground)
  • First aid kit and sun protection
  • Tent (BYO) - please let us know if you do not have a tent and will need to share
  • Sleeping bag
  • Sleeping mat
  • Torch/ headlight
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Eating utensils
  • Camp/biodegradable soap
  • Day pack for gear
  • Camera etc.

== CAR POOL == 

Please allocate yourself to a car.  Make sure you pay your driver back for fuel. If we have to chase people up to pay back drivers, you will jeopardise your spot on future trips.
