Wollar is Alive and well!

Despite a decline in population over the past 20 years, Wollar is still a welcoming small community with a handful of passionate members determined to see the picturesque Central West village continue to survive for generations to come.

The Community Hall is the hub of this close-knit community and on the 21st of September 2024, it will play host to a celebration of this community with a weekend of music, dancing and various stalls. It's a perfect opportunity to reminisce with old friends and new, then kick up your heals at the Country Dance at night. 

The dance features Mick Fetch and the Red Dirt Band, playing classic and modern country tunes plus some Rock and Roll and Rockabilly thrown in for good measure.

There's plenty of camping with toilet facilities around the village, plus food available all day Saturday, Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
