We're excited to announce our upcoming event with Professor Tracie Mafile’o - Co-Founder & Director of Mana Pacific Consultants on Tuesday 22 April.

A Professor at Avondale University (Australia) and co-founder/director of Mana Pacific Consultants, Tracie is a passionate social researcher whose work spans community, practice, and policy spaces.

Her research focuses on elevating Pacific voices to inform decisions directly impacting their lives. Committed to community-engaged research, Tracie employs poetry, storytelling, and arts-based approaches to create meaningful change at the grassroots level. As a registered social worker, she has worked predominantly in the university sector and has lived and worked across New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Australia.

Beyond her academic and research contributions, Tracie is also a devoted mother of two and enjoys baking and decorating cakes in her spare time. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear from an inspiring leader making a real impact in communities across the Pacific!

What to expect on the night

Our events kick off with a networking session between 5.30 - 6.00pm so that guests can connect over a drink & nibbles.  At 6.00pm we head into one of the theatres at Globe Theatre for a presentation from one of our sponsors, and then our guest speaker, with audience Q&A + discussion following before the event is wrapped up at approximately 7.00pm.
