Everyone is invited to our free and inaugural event, the Women and Girls' Wellbeing Expo ... See, Do, Be Better. 


For women and girls


Treat yourself to a day of connection, education and empowerment at Morayfield Community Centre in a safe and friendly environment. Come by yourself, or gather family and friends. There will be something for everyone, no matter what your age.

See, do and be better in life through taking the steps to improve your wellbeing.

Explore stalls by our local businesses and community services from Caboolture, Morayfield, Burpengary and surrounding areas who support and empower women, girls and their families to see, do, be better in life.

Wellbeing Workshops

Three to six workshops are scheduled during the expo. Each workshop will have a different focus on women and girls wellbeing. 

All workshops are free and each one will include three speakers from different organisations sharing their expertise relating to the theme of the workshop. Each workshop will include question and answer time at the end and handouts or activities for you to take away.

The six workshops running at the event has been finalised and will be:

  • Personal safety and support
  • Physical and nutritional wellbeing
  • Raising happy children
  • Emotional wellbeing
  • Building positive relationships
  • Embracing menopause

Workshop 1: 9:15 to 10:00 am 

    Workshop 2: 10:15 to 11:00 am 

    Workshop 3: 11:15 to 12:00 noon 

    Show bags full of goodies

    Every visitor with a free ticket to the Expo gets a show bag on entry. The show bag includes goodies and information relating to women's wellbeing donated by stall providers and Zonta Club of Caboolture. Some providers have also include discount vouchers in the show bag.

    Children with a child ticket get a child's show bag. 

    Show bags also include vouchers for coffee/cold drink, morning tea and three workshop entry tickets and face painting for children and icy pole.

    Special wellbeing displays

    We are so excited to offer a few special areas for you to enjoy.

    Gratitude Wheel - on the stage you will find the gratitude wheel. Grab a heart, write something you are grateful for or an emotion you are feeling, draw a picture and tie it to the wheel. Take a selfie in front of the wheel. Post it. Don't forget to #WomenGirlsWellbeingExpo or #ZontaCaboolture.

    Calm Corner - on the stage you will find the calm corner. Sit and relax on the floor, cushions and rugs provided. Read the calming information on the boards around you. Observe the crowd below. Watch the children while they wait for their face painting. Just relax. 

    Wellbeing positive psychology display - near the entrance on the outside wall of the workshop area in the main hall, you will find displays of information relating to women and girls' (children) wellbeing. Topics like positive relationships, stress management, sleep, respect, gratitude, positive thinking, parenting, self-care and more will be showcased. Information leaflets, booklets, cards and more will be displayed free for you to take what you would like and think will be of benefit to you. 

    Fantastic raffle prizes to win

    Zonta Club of Caboolture will be selling raffle tickets for fabulous prizes during the expo. Raffles will be drawn at 10:05  and 11:05 am. Tickets will be available for sale and raffle prizes on display at the commencement of the expo. You can choose which group of prizes you want your ticket to go into. Prizes will be grouped, for example, girls prizes, self-care prizes, luxury prizes. 

    Raffle tickets will be $2 each or 3 for $5.

    Funds raised from the raffle will be donated to community organisations present at the expo. Expo participants decide who gets a share of the funds raised.

    Some of our raffle prizes so far include:

    • 2 x $100 gift voucher and skin products donated by SILK Laser Clinics, Morayfield Shopping Centre for adults
    • 1 x $80 gift voucher for 1 hour Reiki healing treatment by Reiki Renew for adults
    • 2 free workshop tickets for your choice of one of Foundations For Health paid public workshops,  minimum total value $70
    • Self-care hamper full of goodies donated by Zonta
    • Pearl necklace and earrings donated by Zonta from Angus and Coote, value $229
    • 1 ladies handbag (Laura Jones) for adults, donated by Zonta, value $50
    • STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) prize including a real working stethoscope and human torso for girls, donated by Zonta, value $78
    • Virtual Reality World Atlas for girls or adults, donated by Zonta, value $80
    • Mindwaves Calming Colouring Kit including coloured pencils and markers and Precious Pandas Colouring Book for adults, donated by Zonta, value $31
    • STEM prize, build a Bot Light Up Zebra for girls, donated by Zonta, value $34
    • Sticker Pad Dress Up Book, Unicorn Magic canvas, Unicorn Magic Colouring Book and Butterfly Magnet Wooden Craft Box for girls, donated by Zonta, value $35

    Delicious morning tea for ticket holders

    Everyone with a free ticket at entry receives a voucher to a cup of coffee or tea (children get a cold drink) and a plate of morning tea goodies. Additional food and drinks will be available to buy. Free icy poles for children too. Free popcorn is also available by Terry Young.

    Face painting for children

    Children with a free ticket receive a voucher for face painting during the expo's opening hours. Our talented face painter/s will delight children with their beautiful creations.


    Admission and ticket inclusions

    Everyone is welcome to attend the Women and Girls' Wellbeing Expo by Zonta Caboolture. Please purchase a ticket to ensure you receive all the inclusions. No entry without a ticket because we have to keep track of numbers of attendees in the Hall.

    Tickets are FREE and include:

    • a voucher for tea/coffee/cold drink and icy pole (kids) and morning tea,
    • a show bag on entry full of goodies, vouchers and information about wellbeing for women,
    • three vouchers for workshop entry, and 
    • a voucher for face painting (child ticket <12 years).
