Women Changing the Climate: Fireside Chat with Flora Vano

Join us for an intimate fireside chat with Flora Vano, Country Manager of ActionAid Vanuatu at Gadigal Hall, Newtown Neighbourhood Centre, as she shares her powerful insights from the frontlines of the climate crisis. Afterwards, join us for reflective discussions and mingling at a nearby location.

Flora will speak on:

• The lived realities of climate change and disaster recovery in Vanuatu

• Her experiences representing women from Vanuatu at the UN Climate Conference (COP) and other global climate forums, and expectations for COP30 in Belem

• The leadership and resilience of women driving community-led responses

• What solidarity and climate justice look like across borders

This event will offer space for open conversation, learning, and inspiration to take action for climate justice.
