She was raised in the Huon Valley and studied law at the University of Tasmania before working in risk advisory for Deloitte in Hobart.

Senator Chandler entered politics to help ensure that the next generation of Tasmanians will have the opportunity to live, work and raise a family in her beautiful state; to stand up for the crucial democratic values of freedom of speech and freedom of expression, and to show young Australians that you can make a difference and make your voice heard in Canberra.
