    Event description

Join Us for an Exclusive Dinner Connecting Women Founders and Investors!

The gender funding gap in venture capital is still a reality: in 2023, only 4% of venture capital in Australia went to women-led startups. Yet, despite receiving less support, women founders continue to outperform. A 2018 study by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) found that startups founded or co-founded by women generated 10% more cumulative revenue over a five-year period than male-founded startups, despite receiving less than half the average investment. Additionally, for every dollar of funding, female-founded startups generated 78 cents, while male-founded startups generated only 31 cents.

    Breaking Barriers, Building Futures
Women founders face unique challenges in raising capital, often receiving less funding than their male counterparts. This not only limits their growth potential but also the opportunity for investors to back high-performing ventures. This dinner event aims to bridge that gap, bringing together women founders actively raising investment and investors eager to support them.
