Code for Australia
are hosting our very first women's panel and networking event! We're excited to be providing a space for women involved in design and technology to ask questions, learn from each other and make connections.

We'll be covering topics such as gender dynamics in design and technology, recommendations to support women in these industries, leadership journeys and much more!

This event will now be taking place online.


Please note: This is a women's only event. If you do not identify as a woman, please do not register.



Speakers

Beccy Hulme is a Lead Service Designer at Infoxchange, a social enterprise whose mission is tech for social justice. Her focus is collaboration with internal teams and folks in the community to spearhead change and build products and services that help vulnerable people across Australia find the support that they need, sooner.

Georgina Lewis is a Senior Service and Client Experience Designer at State Trustees where she works to improve financial administration in Victoria. Her role is all about conversations with clients to change experiences for the Victorian community. Georgina is interested in making processes and products better through understanding how to harness what organisations are doing well and identifying what might be holding them back.

Thiya Arrabolu is a Senior Business Analyst at Infoxchange. Thiya has a Software Engineering background and has worked in a spectrum of technical and business roles with technology at the centre in commercial and for-purpose organisations. She is also a social entrepreneur, founded and growing Payroo Australia. Thiya is passionate about bridging gaps and creating equal opportunities with technology while providing technical work opportunities to create impact.

Mel Kaulfuss is a Developer Advocate at Buildkite. As a Visual Arts graduate and former tattoo artist Mel has spent the last 8 years helping build Software products in a variety of roles; Project Manager, Production Coordinator, Technical recruiter and Software Engineer. She discovered her passion for Software Engineering after attending a Railsgirls event in 2014 and spent her spare time learning how to code and attending and running tech community events.
