Our goal is to raise $1,000 on the night. Every gift, no matter the size, helps power this movement forward. --- POWER THE WORK Support the people and purpose behind the movement. At Women of Colour Australia (WoCA), we create programs that empower, research that shifts systems, and advocacy that centres truth, dignity and justice. But all of that rests on something less visible — the systems, staff and strategy that hold WoCA together. Power the Work is our first-ever operational campaign — soft launched in late June 2025 with an initial $500 from our founder. It’s a new step for us, and we’re inviting our community — and those who believe in our vision — to help us build this from the ground up. Your donation helps us: ✔️ Pay staff who show up with skill and heart ✔️ Plan and evaluate with purpose ✔️ Communicate with integrity ✔️ Sustain the systems that make our work safe, strategic and effective For the past four years, WoCA has been largely powered by volunteers. As we approach our fifth year in August 2025, we’re ready to grow — sustainably, strategically, and with intention. This is the work behind the work — and it’s often the part that goes unseen and underfunded.
