Women of Pōneke August Event

Following our first two events in 2024, we are excited to invite you all to the Women of Pōneke August event, hosted at the historic Opera House, thanks to the amazing support of WellingtonNZ and NWGroup.

This event, will be focused on Transitions - a holistic view of how to get yourself in a good zone, fit & prepared and ready for the next stage of your life. Whether that be a career transition or a life change, we are excited to hear from some amazing speakers, sharing their stories and what they learnt during a time of transition in their lives.

Me.We.Pōneke is our signature quarterly event designed to inspire, connect and raise the voices of our wonderful community of Wellington women, and people who identify as women. 

We believe that magic happens when women come together. We’ve seen it. We’ve felt it. And we want to create more of it with regular events that are open, welcoming, supportive and empowering for the women of Wellington.

Our events are designed in three parts, that are captured in our tagline :  ME.WE.PONEKE. This framework forms the structure of our signature events:

ME 

The ME part of ME.WE.PONEKE is all about filling your soul and your cup. This is where we share practical and helpful insights for individual women.

WE

The WE section is about finding your people.  This is where we help the women in our community to find their people. No job titles, no expectations - just women (and people who identify as women), with shared interests, experiences and dreams. 

PŌNEKE

In the PŌNEKE section we help raise the voices of the amazing women leading, innovating and contributing to a better future for Wellington. 

Come along, bring a friend and join us as we continue to raise the voices of Wellington women and invite you all to be part of Me We Pōneke.

Canapes will be served, thanks to our amazing partner The Food Lab, and we will have a cash bar for drinks.

To cover our costs, we are charging for this event. We know that things are tough at the moment for many, so if this is a barrier for you to attend, please contact us and we will do everything support you to attend.
