Many women spend years building careers, businesses, and financial stability, yet few of us are taught how to properly protect what we’ve built.
This month’s Women on the Rise meeting will focus on legal awareness, asset protection, and personal advocacy, empowering women with the knowledge needed to navigate important legal matters that often go overlooked until it’s too late.
We will host a panel of legal professionals who will discuss topics such as estate planning, business law, and the legal rights every woman should understand in order to protect her assets, her family, and her future.
Together, they will walk us through practical insights on how women can prepare, plan, and advocate for themselves when it comes to legal matters that impact our financial and personal security.
In addition, we will welcome Dr. Maryam Kashi from AdventHealth who will provide an educational session on gastrointestinal health, helping attendees better understand digestive health, common gut-related issues, and how stress and lifestyle factors affect our bodies.
This evening will provide both legal knowledge and health awareness, two powerful tools that help women build stronger, more secure lives.

Dr. Maryam Kashi
Board certified Gastroenterologist & Medical Director of Endoscopy | AdventHealth for Women Maryam Kashi, DO, is board certified in gastroenterology and fluent in English, Spanish and Farsi. Dr. Kashi is the Medical Director of endoscopy at AdventHealth Orlando and was recognized for three consecutive years with Orlando 'Top Doc' awards in 2013, 2014 and 2015. She earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University and completed her residency in internal medicine at Johns Hopkins University/Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. Dr. Kashi specializes in a variety of internal medicine procedures and conditions, including gastric balloon for weight loss, colonoscopy, Barrett's esophagus, irritable bowel syndrome, heartburn/GERD, autoimmune liver disease and chronic liver disease.
