Description
Route Overview
Starting Point: Three Daggers Pub & Farmshop
Distance: 14km / 9 miles
Time: 5 hours (inc stops)
Ascent: 300m
Grade: Intermediate (Find out more about our grading system here)
Terrain: gravel tracks, muddy footpaths, country lanes, steps, farmers fields
Join us for a beautiful walk around the chalk hills on the edge of Salisbury Plains. We will begin in Edington, where we can grab a coffee from the Three Daggers Farm shop before heading through the village, past the Priory Church, and beginning our ascent up the rolling Wiltshire hills until we reach the iconic White Horse. From Westbury White Horse, we will walk around the Iron Age hillfort, past a Neolithic Long Barrow and join the Imber Range Perimeter Path, where we will have stunning views of the Salisbury Plains. From here we will meander downhill through Luccombe Bottom, tracing our steps back through the village to the Three Daggers pub, where we will finish the walk with a well-deserved roast.
Spend some much-needed time out in nature, chatting to like-minded women and connecting with others. Most people arrive alone, and leave having made new friends — everyone is super friendly and welcoming, so don't be nervous if this is your first one :)
Please note, the roast is not included in the ticket price. You will need to pre-order before the event and will receive an email closer to the date with menus. Our table is booked at 2.30pm at The Three Daggers, so the estimated finish time is 4/5pm.
