Come along to a Women's Bike Skills Course presented by the Department of Transport and Cyclesense!
This three week bike riding series will be run on Sunday November 24, December 1 and December 8 from 9am - 10.30am.
The fantastic, fun program of events is listed below:
Week 1 - Sunday November 24
- Prepare to ride your bike
- Basic Bike Maintenance - make sure your bike is roadworthy
- Refresh your bike riding skills - including braking, balancing, one-handed riding and scanning activities
- Cornering skills
- Introduction to group riding skills - 'riding with a buddy'
Week 2 - Sunday December 1
- Exploring the local trails (with photo opportunities!)
- How to manage hazards and obstacles
Week 3 -Sunday December 8
Supported ride of various distances
Although entry is FREE, please complete 1 registration for the series by clicking the 'GET TICKETS' button above.
Please note, all participants must be able to ride a 2 wheeled bike.
We encourage you to ride your bike down to the sessions!
