Women's Health Forum
Event description
Join us at our Women's Health Forum to be held at Mitcham Girls High School on the 10th of December, for positive and empowering discussion on endometriosis, menopause and general women’s health. We'd love to see you there!
Beginning at 6:30pm, we'll hear from:
- Hon Ged Kearney MP, Federal Assistant Minister for Health and Aged Care
- Marielle Smith, Senator for South Australia and Deputy Chair and Co-Sponsor of the recent Senate Inquiry into issues related to Menopause and Perimenopause
- Dr Jodie Avery, Senior Research Fellow in the Endometriosis Research Group at the Robinson Research Institute, and
- Dr Alecia Macrow from Thrive Family Practice in Glenelg South which runs the Endometriosis and pelvic pain clinic funded by Minister Butler last year.
We will also be joined by community sector organisations including Breast Screen SA, Cancer Council SA, Careers SA, SHINE SA and Thrive Clinic, who will be providing free information about women's health issues. All are welcome to come along to share their experiences and learn about what supports are available for them and their loved ones!
