Women's Legal Service Queensland (WLSQ) presents a free Domestic and Family Violence Workshop for community service providers in the Gympie region.



Workshop Content: 

This workshop explores the legal landscape of domestic and family violence in Queensland

• The session will include content on:
  • Understanding and recognising different types of domestic and family violence
  • Protection Orders & Private Applications

Thursday 3rd April 2025 - 9:30am-12pm 

Location: Gympie Community Place

A light morning tea will be provided. Please provide any dietary requirements when registering your attendance. 

Who should attend: 

This workshop is designed for service providers across various sections including social services, healthcare and community support. This includes practitioners, support workers, coordinators, and people working directly with individuals impacted by or experiencing domestic and family violence. This workshop is aimed at providing a greater understanding of the legal framework surrounding domestic and family violence and providing practical tools and insights to enhance practice within this sector and for the community.
