Women's Networking Session - Health and Wellbeing
Event description
Join us for the second Women's Networking session of 2024, proudly supported by the Tasmanian Government.
This session will focus on health and wellbeing for those who identify as female. We'll begin with a light dinner, followed by a guided stretch and relaxation exercise.
We are excited to partner with Women's Health Tasmania, who will participate in a Q&A discussion after the stretch session. Amira Onwuegbuzie, facilitator of the Migrant Mother and Baby Playgroup at Women's Health Tasmania, and Blessy Pullan, Social worker at the Royal Hobart Hospital will join us in the panel.Â
Topics will include:
- Accessing health services in Tasmania
- Challenges faced by new female migrants when seeking health support
- Self-care
- Mental health
- Diet and fitness
The evening will conclude with time for networking.
