WOMEN'S RED TENT | AUGUST 1ST
Event description
WOMEN'S RED TENT
FORTNIGHTLY • OCEAN SHORES
This is more than a Red Tent.
It’s an ancient way of gathering—a practice as old as time, where women come together to share, rest, and be with what’s real.
This is not a space for performance or pressure, there’s no over-the-top woo,
You don’t need to be “spiritual enough” or have the right language to belong here.
Just come as you are.
We meet in a rhythm that nourishes.
We share food, stories, and what’s alive in us.
Sometimes there’s craft, ritual, storytelling or medicine.
Sometimes the whole circle is gently held for one woman in the midst of something big.
This is a remembering.
A returning to the old ways of women gathering—of slowing down, softening, and sitting together in our truth.
Here, rest is welcome.
Slowness is sacred.
Spaciousness is part of the practice.
One evening might be full of laughter and storytelling.
Another, quiet and tender.
There may be somatic practices, deep sharing, gentle touch, or even a moment to simply lie back and close your eyes.
Nothing is forced. Nothing is expected.
There’s room for humour, for crassness, for tears and silence.
There’s room for your full self.
I created this circle 9 years ago because I was longing for something more honest.
After years in women’s spaces and over a decade of studying shamanic healing, I wanted something that felt more human—less serious, more spacious.
Something I could exhale into.
And what I found is that this kind of circle—the consistent knowing that you’ll gather again soon—holds you through the month, even when you’re not physically in it.
It becomes a soft anchor. A lifeline, and a quiet red thread of connection.
You’re welcome here, exactly as you are.
The Red Tent - A Gathering for Womb Carriers
The Red Tent is a time of rest, integration, and reflection for womb carriers—a sacred space rooted in an ancient tradition that offers support and nourishment for women at all stages of life and through every cycle.
Sitting in circle provides a loving environment where we build strong foundations within ourselves and our community. Together, we share, connect to our inner landscapes, and nurture a deep sense of belonging.
This gathering is an opportunity to turn inward, put ourselves first, and allow time and space for healing in a safe, nurturing environment—filling our own cup so we can be more present and available to the world around us.
Deborah Wolf is a somatic guide, intimacy coach, and trauma-sensitive shamanic therapist based in Northern Rivers, NSW. With over 11 years of experience in Shamanic and Ancestral Healing, she supports individuals and couples to reconnect with their bodies, reclaim intimacy and power, and explore core issues through embodied soul work, ritual, and mythic wisdom.
Deborah creates safe, nurturing spaces that honours the nervous system and the erotic self, and she is the co-founder of The Red Temple, which offers sacred sexuality events across Australia. She also hosts a long-standing Women’s Red Tent in Ocean Shores, holding space for deep connection, healing, and feminine remembrance.
