Event description

Come along to this WOMEN'S ONLY social afternoon tea!! Free food (including vegan and gluten-free friendly!) will be provided, however attendees are encouraged to bring some store-bought food/drink (no alcohol or home-cooked food, for insurance reasons) to share with everyone :D

This will be a great chance to make new female friends of all ages and get involved with the local community of women. We will have some music playing, board games tables running, and a little craft corner for any fans of crochet/knitting/etc. We will also be facilitating some icebreaker-type activities for those interested in getting to know each other <3

This is a FREE event hosted by Feminist Women's Association Adelaide! We much appreciate any donations to help us run this event and future events, such as a Women's-Only Dance in the summer!

FWAA aims to:

To unite women from all walks of life to make new female friends, hear from different perspectives, learn about feminism and wider politics, do feminist action, and become the most confident version of themselves possible.
To make single-sex social spaces consistently available to women to provide the framework for them to make more female friends, network professionally, and develop their people-skills.
To make (radical) feminism accessible to women through regular group discussions and civil debates, suggesting/providing relevant readings, making stickers and posters, and planning further political action, all in a safe women’s-only environment.
To make a difference in the current political environment by actively advocating for feminist policies, legislation, and ideology.
