Women's Waterfall Hike – Beginner-Friendly Adventure!
Looking for a peaceful yet invigorating hike? Join us for a women’s-only waterfall hike through a beautiful forest!
This is the perfect opportunity for women looking to connect with nature, get moving, and enjoy a relaxing yet energising day in the forest.The event includes a gentle warm-up and heart warmers (icebreakers), mindfulness practices, 1.5-2 hours of walking through lush forested terrain, followed by social connection with like-minded women. Plus, we’ll keep the group small to ensure meaningful connections and a more personal experience.
The women who usually attend these hikes are solo adventurers aged 35 to 70 years young – making it a welcoming space for all women looking to get outdoors, connect with others, and enjoy a mindful, active experience.
WHATS INCLUDED:
- Gentle Warm-Up & Heart Warmers: We’ll start with a grounding mindfulness practice, icebreakers, and a warm-up to help you connect with yourself and the nature around you.
- Guided Waterfall Hike: Enjoy a 2-hour walk through the beautiful forest, exploring vibrant flora and fauna, and finishing at a breathtaking waterfall! This hike is beginner-friendly, with plenty of breaks to appreciate the beauty of the rainforest.
- Experienced Guide: Your hike will be led by a qualified bushwalking guide, trained in Wilderness First Aid, ensuring you are in safe hands throughout the journey.
- Yummy Mid-Hike Snack: Enjoy a delicious snack to keep you energised and fuelled during the hike.
- Community Connection: After the walk, we gather in a supportive circle to share experiences, reflections, and connect with like-minded women.
- Optional Cafe Hangout: At the end of the hike, we head to a nearby cafe for a well-deserved coffee (optional but a lovely way to continue the conversation!).

Difficulty: Easy to moderate – perfect for beginners or anyone looking for a relaxed day outdoors.
What to Bring:
- Minimum 2 litres of water
- Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, sunscreen)
- Comfortable, sturdy walking shoes or boots
- Raincoat (weather dependent), mozzie repellant (natural if possible), hiking poles (if you need them)A sense of adventure and a camera to capture the moments!

NOTE:
- This event is in NSW time so please double check you have the right time if coming from QLD
- The event is for women 18yrs+
- You'll need to sign a waiver to participate in this event
- Moderate level of fitness is required for a grade 3 hike. The trail is fairly well maintained but there is uneven surfaces and incline
- Please be responsible and aware of your physical and mental abilities and only choose to participate if it's right for you and your body. This event is not intended as therapy, please seek advice from health professionals if this is what you are needing.
- The host will monitor weather conditions and will only cancel the event if there is extreme weather. We will still walk in rain if safe to do so (it's part of the fun). Refunds will only be provided if the host cancels the event due to weather
