The Winter Solstice marks the shortest day of the year and the longest night. It is the point where there is the most darkness and the turning point where, from this time on, there will be more light. The days will get longer and we will begin our journey out of the darkness of winter, preparing for the fresh energy of Spring in a couple of months time.

The enhanced darkness at this time provides a powerful opportunity to go inwards, to connect with the feminine energy and to access the subconscious mind. It is also an important time to connect with your unique vision going forwards. What do you want to birth out of this darkness, come Spring and Summer?

This powerful transition between seasons has been celebrated and revered in ancient civilizations, indigenous cultures, and various religions for tens of thousands of years

According to Forever Conscious, "The winter solstice celebrates the longest hours of darkness or the rebirth of the sun and is believed to hold a powerful energy for regeneration, renewal and self-reflection. In Pagan times the winter solstice was referred to as Yule and was a celebration of the Goddess (Moon) energy. It was believed that on this day, the moon would give birth to the sun."

We come together at this time to celebrate and utilize this energy by connecting with the Divine Feminine Spirit of Mamma Cacao.

Sitting in circle in nature, we will welcome her beautiful Spirit to open us up to our inner wisdom and connect us with our hearts, as we connect to our individual intentions for the next cycle.

We will connect to our feminine power through a movement practice and breathe these intentions in and release what is not in service of these intentions through a powerful breath sequence.

Once you have connected to this receptive feminine energy within you, you will be taken on a guided meditation journey to receive the wisdom of your heart and intuition, to support you in bringing these intentions into reality.

We will complete this sacred experience with a cleansing ritual, asking the ocean to support us in releasing anything that is not serving us, as we step forward towards our vision for the season ahead.
