Women Safety Training Workshop

Take control of your life and learn new skills!  Be financially smarter, emotionally, and physically stronger women!   

Proudly supported by ACT Government, Alo Enlightened Women and Pink Umbrella International are thrilled to host a series of FREE impactful training workshops on women's empowerment and safety between May-June 2024. 

These workshops are specifically designed and delivered by CALD women for CALD women to break free from difficult and traumatic situations by equipping them with life changing skills and techniques to help reach their full potential and to live a life on their terms because that creates a better world for us all.  The workshop topics includes, safety awareness, financial literacy, and digital safety, concluding with practical physical self-defence workshops in a relaxed, safe, and friendly environment.    

Our experts will also offer one-on-one financial counselling and financial advice to workshop attendees to enable women to have a comprehensive understanding of their current financial situation and the ability to take back control of their finances and their lives.

Event #1:" Sunday, May 26, 2024, “Safe home, safe community: Tools to keep women safe at home"

An engaging workshop tailored for CALD Women offers crucial information, Technology-based abuse, and services. You will get a special booklet on Awareness and Safety. It empowers women with the skills to live safely. 

Event #2: Sunday, 2 June 2024 -Financial Wellbeing Workshop (taking control of your finances). 

Our experienced experts will outline steps to recognize financial abuse, your legal and financial rights, how to develop a financial plan/savings goal, how to submit a tax return, superannuation options and many more. You will receive a free financial toolkit designed specifically for CALD women.
