Women's Weaving Workshops

Please join Aunty Valda Murray and Aunty Glennys Briggs to learn traditional weaving skills. At these events you will learn about the revival of traditional crafts in a local context whilst getting hands on experience in weaving techniques that have been shared for hundreds of generations.

Places are limited so book early to make sure you don't miss out! We have workshops available on two dates.    Everyone is welcome - whether this is your first attempt at weaving or if you wish to refine your existing skills.  Children also welcome. 

EVENT 1: 10.30 am - 2 pm, Tuesday 18th June, Kergunyah Hall, 19 Kergunyah Road, Kergunyah

EVENT 2: 10.30 am - 2pm, Monday 1st July, Baranduda Community Centre, 3 Sage Court, Baranduda

•  Lunch and morning tea will be provided
• Physical Fitness level required: EASY ( Sitting/for a periods of 2 hours or more required)
  




WHAT TO BRING:


-Water bottle.


-Please wear comfortable clothing

-If you are unwell on the day please remain at home in consideration of the health of others

Due to our limited funding it is difficult to cater for every dietary requirement at our events. If you have special dietary requirements please bring your own food and drink.
