Thank you for your interest in the INSIGHTS Science Discovery - Women Who ROCKet in Aerospace workshop! This is Pre registration, PLEASE USE LINK PROVIDED IN CONFIRMATION EMAIL TO COMPLETE FINAL REGISTRATION AND SIGN WAIVER!
This event is a team rocket building event for young women in Grades 6th-12th. Teams of 5 will assemble a provided rocket kit & then launch it! If participants do not have a team when registering, one will be assigned on the day of the event. Please fill out the following registration information for this FREE event!
Insights Science Discovery will host the Women Who ROCKet in Aerospace young women’s rocket building workshop at the Horizon City Rocket Club, located at N. Ascension, El Paso, Texas.
This FREE workshop begins at 8:30 a.m. with check-in, and the rocket building workshop starts at 9 a.m. Rockets will launch at 3 p.m. and the event ends with a high powered rocket launch at 5 p.m.
Parents need to drop off participants at 8:30 a.m. and pick up is from 4-5 p.m.
If parents wish to stay for the event, please bring your own chair, snacks & water.
Lunch will be provided for all workshop participants.
