Try Some New Skills

Ever wondered what it's like to be a CFA firefighter? Now's your chance to have a go.

Get hands-on and experience some of the skills and activities our volunteers undertake, including:

• Get into CFA gear and experience what it's like to suit up.

• Ride on the back of a CFA truck and see what it's like to respond as a crew. Take part in a running grass-fire scenario.

• Have a go at using a branch to control the water stream and spray our mini fire trucks.

• Forcible Entry Firefighting style.

• Hands-On Extinguisher Training.

• Tour the station and discover what happens behind the scenes.

• Explore CFA's learning and training pathways and where volunteering could take you.

No experience is needed-just come along, get involved and give something new a go!
