Join us for the Women’s House 50th Birthday reminiscing on 50 years of collective resistance!
Starting off with a beautiful welcome to country by Aunty Dawn Daylight.
Followed by special performances by:

✿ Kristy Apps
✿ Combined Union Choir
✿ Kaylah Coghill
✿ Olivia Dunlop
✿ And community dance with Bring a Plate
The official proceedings will be Auslan interpreted.
The Women's House 50th birthday celebration will be a public event MC'd by Mandy Nolan. With creative performances and interactions by community and First Nation's Artists we intend to honor Women’s House workers and all survivors of violence with a night of solidarity.
This is a free event. Food and drinks will be available onsite, please RSVP for our catering numbers.
Alongside the celebration will be an exhibition in the QCAD Project gallery offering a walk-through Herstory from the Women’s House archives.
The exhibition will run from Thursday 31 July - Friday 8 August. Open to the public every day except Sunday and Monday from 10am to 4pm.
This event and exhibition is held in Magandjin on the stolen land of Yuggera and Turrbal people. Sovereignty was never ceded.
