Women's Monthly Haiku Circle 2027
About
Learn the principles of haiku through an expressive arts approach
Led by Maryam Mermey PhD, in a relaxed environment, participants will compose & share haiku outside in the beauty of nature. Each week a Japanese writing prompt is offered such as makoto: honesty, sincerity, unaffectedness & openness in haiku & temenos: a fragrance of the sacred, the holy place. Participants also experience the playful joy of writing collaborative haiku.
