Event description

We welcome you,

In all your many colours, shapes, sizes, and essences, to a night of devotion, empowerment, and fierce play to the woman that you are!

We welcome you to Nude Yoga—just for us womban.

Together, we will dive into an hour-long yoga practice, with the option to remove your clothing. This is a chance to delayer the many attributes of the armor we carry and step into discomfort with ferocity. How we do one thing is how we do everything. So, how can we allow ourselves to honour the unknown, our boundaries, with a certain kind of authentic kindness and courage?

We will discover what lies hidden in the murky waters of our comfort zones—and yes, we’ll have fun as "nuddie tootie" women in space, because we all know the magic that happens when women gather with intention, don’t we?

This is an opportunity to reconnect with your innate creativity through movement and yoga, woven with poetry. We will hold space for you to feel safe as you return home to your body, through the connection of words, sensations, and creative play, dancing in tango with asana.

Yoga is the poetry, the mat is the paper, your body is the pen, and your courageous heart is the true expression, ready to experience it all.

How the Evening Will Unfold

What You Will Need to Bring

Some questions you may have!

1. What is nude yoga, and how is it different from regular yoga?

Nude yoga is a practice where we remove the barriers of clothing to reconnect with our bodies in their most authentic form. It’s not about exhibitionism or performance; it’s about fostering body awareness, self-acceptance, and true liberation from societal body expectations. By practicing without clothes, we allow ourselves to feel more grounded, connected to our natural state, and free from judgment. It’s about honoring and celebrating the body in its natural form, without distractions, and deepening our mindfulness in every movement.

2. Do I have to be naked to participate?

No, you do not have to be naked to participate. This class is clothing-optional, meaning you can practice in whatever state of dress feels most comfortable to you—whether that's fully clothed, partially clothed (such as in underwear or a sports bra), or nude. The primary goal is to create a safe space where you can explore body acceptance at your own pace. There’s no pressure to disrobe if you’re not ready.

3. What if I feel self-conscious or nervous about being naked in front of others?

It’s completely normal to feel nervous, and your feelings are valid. This practice is about creating a supportive and non-judgmental space where everyone is encouraged to honor your own comfort zone. You don’t have to be fully nude right away; some women may choose to keep some clothing on during  class until they feel more comfortable. The beauty of nude yoga is that it's a journey toward self-acceptance and self-love, and there is no rush. Each participant moves at their own pace, and you’re always welcome to take breaks if needed.

4. How do you maintain privacy and respect in a nude yoga class?

Respect and privacy are our top priorities. The space is created with a deep sense of trust and confidentiality. There will be no photos or videos allowed, and we have clear ground rules in place to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. there will be covers over the windows of the space.

5. Do I need to have experience with yoga to join the class?

No prior experience with yoga is necessary! This class is open to women of all levels, from complete beginners to advanced yogis. The practice is designed to be gentle and intuitive, with an emphasis on mindfulness and self-awareness rather than performance or perfection. It’s a space to learn, grow, and explore body movement in a way that feels nourishing and supportive for you. You’ll be guided with modifications and suggestions, so you can go at your own pace.

6. What if I’m not comfortable being nude in front of others?

That’s absolutely okay! Nude yoga is clothing-optional, meaning you can choose how much clothing you feel comfortable wearing. You can start fully clothed, or with partial clothing, and transition as you feel ready. The practice is about honoring your own journey and comfort, not about how much you choose to reveal. We all move at our own pace, and the goal is for you to feel empowered and comfortable in your own skin—wherever you start is perfect.

7. Is there an age or body type limit for nude yoga?

There is no age or body type limit for this practice. Nude yoga is about celebrating all women—no matter your age, size, shape, or background. We honour all bodies and encourage each participant to embrace their own unique beauty and strength.

8. Is the class about sexual expression?

Nude yoga is not about sexual expression; it’s about body acceptance, self-love, and mindfulness. The focus of the class is on connecting deeply with your body in a non-sexual way. The intention is to release body shame, break free from societal judgments, and celebrate the body as it is. The class is a safe, sacred space where we can practice vulnerability, love, and self-compassion, without any sexual intent.

9. Can I attend the class if I’m on my period?

Yes, absolutely! You are welcome to attend class while menstruating.  Your body is your own, and this space is about honoring your needs, wherever you are in your cycle.

10. Will the instructor be nude too?

YES! we are in this together, as a shared human experience

11. What if I need to take a break during the class?

If at any point you feel the need to take a break or step out of the class, please do so without hesitation. The practice is meant to support your well-being, so feel free to listen to your body. We encoThere is no pressure to keep going if you don’t feel like it. Your comfort and emotional health are the priority.

12. What happens if I feel uncomfortable during the class?

Answer:
If you ever feel uncomfortable during the class, it’s completely okay to step out or take a pause. This is your personal journey, and we respect your boundaries. We encourage you to check in with yourself and listen to your body. If you need assistance or have any concerns, you can always approach the instructor for support. Our goal is to provide a safe, empowering space for you to explore, not to push any limits that don’t feel right.

13. Babes I don't want my yoni-coochie in someones face in downward dog, ya know?

Fear not! we will be in a circle format so no ones bits and bobs will be in anyones faces xx
