Event description

This one's for the girls! Rising Sun Workshop is offering Women's only Wrench Nights, a workshop class based around motorcycles and designed to share knowledge and invite more women into our workshop space. This is a great opportunity to get your hands dirty, learn something new, and share your experience with like minded people.

Ticket price includes a glass of wine or beer [non alcoholic drinks also available], and some shared snacks from our team of talented chefs!

COURSE OUTLINE:

  • Getting familiar with the tools and equipment in a motorcycle workshop.
  • Understanding the basics of how combustion engines work.
  • All about tyres and keeping them at the right pressure for a safe ride.
  • Demystifying brakes and how they bring you to a stop.
  • The importance of engine oil and filters for a healthy bike.
  • Using mechanical advantage to make those tougher tasks easier.
  • Understanding coolant and its vital role.
  • Essential general motorcycle maintenance tips.

    • This is your opportunity to roll up your sleeves, learn practical skills, and connect with other women who share an interest in bikes. No prior experience is necessary – just bring your curiosity and a willingness to learn!

    We are accepting bookings as a group [6 tickets] or individually to join a class with new friends. Tickets and times depend on availability for each event.
