Event description

The Tongue Set Free: Women writing migration stories

Would you like to write the story of your journey?

Have you wanted to write the story of your migration journey and never had the chance?

Key Into Australia is offering you that chance! We bring together circles of women to talk and write about their migration stories.

We invite you to share your stories in a free writing workshop, where we share our experiences of moving countries and building new homes. Your story can be told in prose or poetry, it can be long or short. You can write in any language. You can decide if you would like to write for yourself, your family and friends, or for publication.

The workshop will be facilitated by renowned writer and teacher, Viva Hammer. www.vivahammer.com

The sessions will be held via zoom.

This program is free, supported by Multicultural NSW and is open to women from multicultural/migrant backgrounds.

The 9th May will be an advanced session, please bring your 50 words and 100 words stories to share and discuss.
