Wonder in the Forest

Have you ever wondered what is really in the forest? This event by Play Naturally OT is delivered by an occupational therapist and welcomes adults of all ages to find their inner child for a playful and relaxed adventure in the hidden gem - Blackwood Forest! 

You will be guided through sensory nature connection activities to help you connect with nature, to calm your busy minds and forget about the demands of life for a while! You will meet trees, notice the wonder of the forest and find treasures you may have never noticed before! It is an opportunity to engage your senses - including listening, touching, smelling, tasting and seeing as we allow ourselves to just ‘be’ in nature. 

Nature connection enhances our mental and physical health which then supports our ability to do the things we need to do, want to do and have to do every day. In a world where people of all ages are increasingly disconnected from nature, a deliberate nature-based experience such as this can help you access the health and wellbeing benefits of nature for yourself and for the planet - while having fun! The experience will be tailored to the needs of the group where possible.

This event is a chance for adults to play naturally, for some well deserved 'you' time to look after your own well-being, to do something meaningful! Bring some friends, leave the kids home and do something for yourself! Please contact Prue at Play Naturally OT with questions on accessibility.
