Wonderful wildflowers and birds in Hillbank


Event description

Enjoy a peaceful wildflower walk through remnant bushland whilst admiring the many wonderful birds that call this place home.

We invite you to join Trees For Life's friendly and knowledgeable staff to learn how local volunteers are helping to preserve this bushland while enjoying the beautiful ocean and bushland views of Hillbank. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about local native plants in the Playford region and how to recognise and appreciate a variety of local bird species, binoculars will be available to help.

This walk is suitable for beginners and enthusiasts alike. No previous experience is required.

On the day you will need:

* Suitable clothing (hat, long pants and long sleeved shirt)
* Strong enclosed shoes
* Drinking water and a snack

Meet your guide through the yellow gate at the intersection of Willison Road and Highfield Drive, Hillbank.


This activity is suitable for anyone who is in general good health. The walk is on a narrow gravel trail with stretches of uneven surface. The walk is moderately steep in parts and walkers may need to navigate over or around logs or branches.

This activity is suited to ages 5+.

Please note there is no toilet on site, the nearest toilet is located at the Jo Gapper Dog Park, Hillbank.
