Dr Kit Prendergast is the WA Early-Career Scientist of the Year and WA Young Tall Poppy. She has published over 80 peer-reviewed articles, and has worked with City of Bayswater documenting the biodiversity of native bees across the council's greenspaces and advise on restoration targeting native bees to ensure Bayswater is a thriving native bee friendly council.
