Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Year 7 & 8 Play 2025

Ruyton Girls' School Year 7 and Year 8 Students present their 2025 play, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. They are supported by the Year 9 and Year 10 'Behind the Scenes' class.

Based on Roald Dahl’s beloved classic, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory follows the story of young Charlie Bucket, a kind-hearted boy who dreams of a better life beyond his humble home. When eccentric chocolatier Willy Wonka announces a worldwide contest to find five lucky winners of Golden Tickets hidden inside his famous chocolate bars, Charlie’s world changes forever. Alongside four other children, each with their own larger-than-life quirks, Charlie embarks on a fantastical tour through Wonka’s magical factory, filled with Oompa-Loompas, incredible inventions, and life lessons about honesty, imagination, and the power of goodness.
