Discover DISC GOLF - the relaxed fun sports craze!

Frisbee or Disc Golf is a great way and affordable way to spend an hour or two in the sunshine and forest!

The principle of golf is the same but players throw a frisbee, not hit a little white ball with a long stick.  It is nowhere near as serious as ball golf.  You throw from a Teebox and aim to get your frisbee in a target basket in as few shots as possible.  The lowest score over the round wins.

3pm Onwards:
Parakai Springs Hot Pools

Come along for the evening after Disc Golf and Mountain Biking to the Geothermal Parakai Pools just down the road. Hydroslides, warm water and fun with other home educated families.

• Pricing: Weekly Children 5-15 years $10 (normally $18) Adults $15 (normally $35)

  How does this work?
  Book and pay through Life Learners Website to get the special price our group is offered.
  
  Show up after 3pm and simply mark off your name on the list at the Parakai Pools counter. 
  
  Our cuppa area will be set up under the outside covers by the main pool and inside the hot pool area if the weather is truly awful. 
  
  Important things to know:
  - The rock pools are an adult only area.
  - Please observe all other rules of the Pools so that we represent our homeschool community well. 
  - Life Learners facilitates the organization of the event as a group. Life Learners is not responsible for the care or supervision of your child/children. Please ensure your children are supervised at all events and that you bring things they may need to meet any medical needs or emergencies.
  
  Cost includes: a group contribution; this supports the organization of outings/ sessions for the home educated community and online services used for bookings.
