Wooditjup Bilya: Community Planting Day
Event description
Join Nature Conservation and the Friends of Wooditjup Bilya (Margaret River) for the annual Wooditjup Bilya community planting event. This year's event builds on seven years of successful habitat enhancement on riparian sites along the Wooditjup Bilya. Cultural custodian Zac Webb will be on site to deliver a Welcome to Country and share the unique cultural values and stories of the Wooditjup Bilya.
Get involved and help restore a special part of the foreshore in Rosa Brook, learn about Wadandi culture, enhance habitat, promote a healthy and biodiverse ecosystem and make friends along the way!
Come meet Simon Cherriman, learn about the importance of habitat and celebrate the incredible birdlife with whom we are fortunate to share our place.

We ask everyone to stick to the designated planting and resting areas whilst onsite. Can't wait to see you there!!
