Join us for a hands-on community workshop where you’ll learn how to manage woody weeds on your property and support displaced native wildlife.
This free event brings together passionate local experts for a morning of learning, community, and practical action. Whether you’re a bush block owner, live in Meelup Heights or Maybrook Estate, a keen gardener, or simply love wildlife and the environment, this event will equip you with valuable skills and insight into caring for our local landscapes.
What to expect:
Learn how to identify and remove woody weeds, apply herbicide safely, and protect native bushland with weed control expert Rick Ensley.
Discover which native animals inhabit woody weeds and what to do if you find displaced wildlife with Suzi Strapp, President of FAWNA Inc.
Bring a weed from your property to have it identified — and swap it for a native plant!
