    Event description

Join passionate naturalist Karen Retra in the Reedy Creek reserve at Wooragee for a fantastic frog focused morning.

Find out which frog species are living in Wooragee, how to identify them by their unique calls, and what habitat they prefer. We'll explore the vegetation and conditions our local frogs are loving and check out the work being done by Wooragee Landcare volunteers in the reserve to improve their habitat.

Where: Meet at Wardens Lane Reserve for a 10am start.

    Google Map link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Bko8F2...

What to expect: The reserve is small so we won't be walking far, but we will be walking on natural, rough and possibly wet ground, with Reedy Creek nearby. There will be plenty of time to chat and ask your questions about frogs, frog ID and creating good frog habitat, and we will provide a cuppa too!

What to bring: Please dress for the weather and wear your gumboots. Bring your mobile phone with the FrogID app downloaded if you'd like to learn how to identify frogs by recording their calls.

This event is supported by the Victorian government through the Victorian Landcare program.

Registration prior to the event is essential for communication, safety and insurance purposes.
